22nd of May saw the rise of two new stars into the horizon of the News world. One an English weekly tabloid and a Malayalam weekly tabloid .SAR Multimedia Pvt Ltd has brought the thought of initiating a change in the world of reporting. The idea was very clear, the English tabloid would be informative and youth oriented while the Malayalam tabloid would cover the entire city of Mumbai and pass on information’s to the Mumbai Malayalam community. The launch was held at Bharath Natya Mandir Dombivli (E), and the programme commenced at 20.00 hrs. The guest of honor for the launch was Miss Parvathy Omnakuttan (Miss World Runners Up 2008), who was gracious enough to come on time and grace the event. The Chief Geust was Mr Shri T K Chandran (renowned actor and Philosopher),. The launch was blessed by many other distinguished guests who are all successful and well known personalities from their respected fields.SAR Multimedia is thankful and honored by the presence of personalities like Shri P. K Ravindranath (renowned actor and Philosopher), Shri Somasundaran Nair, Shri Rajjan Nair, ShriN. K. Bupesh Babu,Shri Sreekanth Nair, Shri Prasannakumar,Shri . Their presence made the event, more colorful and meaningful.The event started by honoring all the guests, and the lighting of the lamp keeping up with the Indian tradition and culture. The event was planned in such a way that the speakers would be kept to the bare minimal because of the lack of time. Miss Parvathy Omanakuttan was felicitated by the CMD of SAR Multimedia Shri Anil Raghavan, and there after a small speech by the him. The speech was short and sweet where he did not forget to thank all the people present and the media for their cooperation and support. The event then moved along to the next section the LAUNCH of the News tabloid, which was introduced through a power point presentation. The presentation projected this part of the suburbs beyond Thane and Mumbai as the Metro beyond Metro. The idea of SAR is to do the same create awareness and initiate the required change in attitude, thought and process. The presentation lead us through the acheiments of Dombvli Kalyan and the necessity of a news tabloid for the Mumbai malayali.Then came the much awaited Launch White line Focus
(Flash)in english and Whiteline Vartha in Malayalam. The First paper was handed over to Miss Parvathy Omnakuttan, and thus the event came to its full glory. This was followed by the release of a Book Written by Shri Shri Prassana kumar named “The Autumn In Japan” and Shri Somasudaran Nair did the honors. He then spoke a few words about the book and the author. Shri Prassana kumar the author gave us insights about the book and the inspiration that lead to the writing of these books. He was kind enough to than SAR multimedia for publishing his ideas and was all praises for the Miss World runners up.
This gave a green signal for the start of the event, and it was started by a theme dance a fusion that projected the lack in political will in handling and controlling terrorism. It was projected well by Vipin and group, who set up the whole show in three days time. They are the future of Dombvli. After this scintillating performance , SAR charitable trust the social service wing of SAR group which gives cash awards to promote young and bright talents in the field of arts, culture and education. This time the cash prize was awarded to a young and upcoming poet Miss Sruthi Vinod, and the honors were once again carried out by the ever gracious Miss Parvathy Omanakuttan.
Then it was time for some fun and frolic, the audience was mesmerized by the musical performance conducted by the orchestra group . The audience were controlled by volunteers wearing T shirts bearing the logo of White line Focus as the tabloid has a focus on everything. The event came to a conclusion by 22.30hrs well within the stipulated time. This tabloid is there to stay and shall grow along with the growth of this part of the suburbs.
